Sound Issues

HELP

I am trying to put sound to play in my presentation. I get those preloaded
sounds or whatever. But when I try to add my own (.wav) file like it wants.
It does not play the sound at all.

Help!

Dian, PowerPoint doesn't have preloaded sounds - do you mean you got a
presentation that already had sound?

Now, coming to your sound file - are you using the Insert | Sounds and
Movies | Sound from File option? And what type of sound are you inserting -
WAV? MP3? WMA?

Does the sound play outside of PowerPoint?
