Ludzav,
Could you provide more info, how are you trying to add the sound, what
version of Powerpoint are you using. Do you get an error message. I do not
think you will need your installation CD.

I am having the same problem. I think that it has happened since the service
pack 2 release.

I try and insert and WMP file into a presentation and it no longer plays it
(automatically or when I click on it) I have also openned an old
presentation and this no longer works??

Do you perhaps mean a WMA file? I think WMP usually refers to Windows Media
Player (the program itself).

Which version of PPT are you using?

When you mention SP-2, do you mean SP-2 for Windows XP?
