SPAM rule for Outlook 2K

Thought I would share this Rule Filter that actually works. I was told by
someone here that you "cannot" set a rule in Outlook that only allows mail
from senders in your address book only. You actually can, but with a twist.
No need for 3rd party filtering software anymore. :)

This is a variation of a solution I found on Google, thanks to whomever
posted this:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1st Rule:
Apply rule after message arrives, sent to your address, then
Move it to the Deleted Items folder, then
except if from (add everyone in your Contacts List), then
stop processing more rules.

Set another Rule:
Apply rule after message arrives, sent to (your email address), then
move it to (choose or create a folder).
(make a seperate rule like this for each user if multiple accounts : IM
only, not corporate mode)

Set Tools/ Options to empty the Deleted folder on closing Outlook.

IMPORTANT! turn off the Preview pane in the Inbox and the Deleted folder so
that emails wont be automatically opened!
---------------------------------------

I have been using this for a month now with great success.
All mail gets moved into the deleted folder, then legitimate email is moved
to your inbox of choice. So spam stays in the trash where it belongs. Just
remember to keep your contacts list updated and synced with the above 1st
rule. Also, remember to check your Deleted items folder when there is
content to make sure that any wanted email isn't deleted.

Hope this works for you as well as it does for me!
