spell check freezes my computer.

I have checked "always check spelling before sending" but when cheking
spelling prior to sending e-mail it freezes my computer. HELP! this 90 years
old

Spell checker needs MS Office's Word, Excel or Powerpoint in the same version
to work. If you don't have any of those, you must use a third party addon.
