Spell check problem

Hi Patrick,

Been checking to see if we can find out anything. In the
meantime, guess you'll need to run the spellcheck from the
first slide. Sorry.

Hello --

I am encountering a problem when checking the spelling of
a PowerPoint 2002 presentation.
Background: I typically add a code to a presentation's
slide master, consisting of letters and numbers, which
prints on all pages and allows me to find files easily. I
have also unchecked the "Ignore words with numbers" check
box in options.
Now the problem: Let's say I have a 3-page presentation,
with a code on the slide master, and misspellings on pages
1 and 2, and no misspellings in page 3. If I begin the
spell check on page 3, spell check switches to the slide
master and calls out my code as misspelled -- no problem.
When I click "Ignore," PowerPoint says the spell check is
complete, leaving the misspellings on earlier pages alone.
This is a problem that did not occur in PowerPoint 2000.
Now I could be sure to check spelling from the title
slide every time, but I am hoping that someone may have a
better solution -- some sort of option that I can change
that would allow me to, once again, check an entire
presentation's spelling from anywhere in the presentation.
