Split summary bars to reflect non continuous sequence of tasks

MS Project 2000 - Does anybody know how to create a split in a summary bar to
reflect the non continuous sequence of activities under it?

Hello Roger,
On each subtask, in the Task Information dialog, General tab : Check the
"Roll up Gantt bar to summary" check box.
In the Summary Task Information, General tab : check Hide taskbar.
You can change the aspect of these Rolled Up Task : Format / Bar Styles...
