split task without chaging end date

Hello,

When there is a split task you can use your cursor to draw time worked
during the split by dragging your cursor along the timeline where the split
occurs.

Is there a tool to do the oppsite of this. If you have a solid task and you
want to quickly mark time not worked without changing the end date or moving
any other splits that may exist later in the timeline?

Yes. View the Task Usage and for the days you want the Task to show no bar,
enter 0d in the Work row.

Thank you! That worked very weel when I changed the tasks to "fixed units"
