Hi, I have a simple question:

how do I have Outlook 2003 started automatically and minimized to
system tray at windows startup?

Thanks in advance

Put a shortcut to it in your Startup program group. However, I don't
believe it will start minimized.

It's better to put a shortcut in your Quick Launch bar or you will get errors
if OL loads too soon before your connection and antivirus. You can customize
it to start minimized by right clicking on it and changing the setting in the
Run box. Just click on it after booting up and everything loads.

I'll have to try that again. I thought I had tried that and found that
Outlook 2003 doesn't honor that setting.

I have now verified that, as I said, Outlook 2003 does not honor the "Run
minimized" setting on the Shortcut tab of a shortcut.
