Remember in Office 2003 you will see in the Start Menu two items called
Open Office file and New/Create Office file. And this item contains tabs of
categories of file/document types with various icons of templates, etc. . .
Why is there none after upgrading to Office 2007 Professional Plus? Or must I
create one?
How do you create these menus?

Hi Dino,

In both Office 2003 and 2007 the 'old' dialogs for the Start Menu are optional features. You can still add them from the Microsoft
Office choice in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel.

Note that they haven't been 'improved' for Office 2007 and that the Office Button=>New dialogs in the ribboned apps have additional
capabilities not in those dialogs.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the reply. But that feature was automatically added in previous
Office versions. Why did it not automatically create in 2007. Please share in
detail the steps to add this feature.

Thanks and God bless you.
