Strange Font Isuues

I received a Powerpoint File, the file looks fine on screen but when I
print it fonts in some text boxes blow up from 10pt to 25pt, others on
the same page may be fine. All text boxes in the file are in Arial.
When I print to Adobe Distiller the same thing happens. The 'Replace
Font'feature in Powerpoint doesn't fix it either. Note: If I Ctrl X the
text out of the problem text box and paste it on the slide the problem
disappears. My issue is I have 186 slides to fix with several text
boxes on each. Has anybody bumped into this issue?? Help!!

I would start by making sure all of your drivers are up-to-date. Go to the
printer manufacturers website and download the most current driver. Also
update the directX while you are at it. (It isn't usually related to this
problem, but it is always a good idea to keep the display driver updated as
well.) Also make sure that Windows and Office have the most recent updates.

If you are printing to a networked printer, install the print drivers on
your local machine, not just the one attached to the printer.

Post back if this is still a problem after applying the updates.
