Styles change by themselves in publisher

When I delete unwanted Styles from Publisher 2003, they reappear next time I
open the document. Styles I create change themselves - different fonts, sizes
and paragraph spacings. This is driving me nuts and wasting hours of time. I
can't find anything in Help! Why does this happen and how do I lock in
styles to a particular document?

When you change a text style in one publication, Publisher doesn't update the
style in other publications. But you can open another publication and import the
updated style into the first publication.

You can import styles you've used in another publication or in a Microsoft Word
document. This helps related publications maintain a common look and feel.

On the Format menu, click Styles and Formatting.
In the Styles and Formatting task pane, click Import styles.
Click the publication or document that contains the styles you want to import.
Click OK.
Every style is imported from the other publication or document.

Note If you imported styles from a file created with Publisher 2000 or earlier,
the style known as no style is converted to Normal style.

Thanks Mary, but the problem is not with another document, but the one in
which styles were deleted and added. The styles I create simply get changed
without my help. For example, I might set up a style with Arial 11pt. Next
time I open that document it has become another font with a 10.4 pt size!
(Where does the decimal point come from?)
