Subform not opening correctly

I have a subform with one record in it.
Allow Additions is set to yes.
When activating the subform to open
it only opens to the blank record. If I
open it directly, the record with data is
there.

Sometimes, when opening it directly, it
is extremely slow. It can take 15-20
seconds to display the two records
(the data and the blank).

Any ideas why?

Arturo,
do other forms in your app open as slowly as this form?
What happens if you open the query that subform is based on - does it open
very slowly?
I would try with a new subform based on the same table or query - don't
bother with fancy formatting - this is just a test form.
Do you get the same result with the test form?
