Subreport columns no longer work correctly after upgrading from Access95 to 2003

We have just upgraded from Win98SE/Office 95 to XP/Office 2003.

Several of our reports which use columns in a sub-report no longer
worked after doing this.

After some fiddling with the layouts, I managed to fix most of them,
however the Despatch report still does not work.

The report shows a single despatch split into one or more sections.

Each section has a header and footer.

Within the Detail section is a sub-report with columns which shows the
pallet contents of the despatch.

The problem:
The sub-report is 7 columns wide. Originally if there were more than 7
pallets in a section, the report would produce the rest on the next
page. Now however they are just not printed at all.

Eg. a despatch with 10 pallets in a section would show pallets 1-7 on
first page and 8-10 on second page. Now pallets 8-10 just disappear.

Any help solving this is greatly appreciated.
