Switched Entourage German 2001 to entourage English X

Hi,
I had before a german version of Entourage 2001 on OS 9.2.
Since I now switched to OS X I got the english version of Entourage X.
The Problem now is If I try to import my Account settings (rules
messages,addresses etc.)
It does not find it (I tried every thing). I heared that this problem
could be solved if I buy a german version b¹cause
My previous one was in german.. Is there not any other trick to handle that
?
Does somebody have any experience In that ?

I've had similar issues inthe apst between French and English versions
of OE. THe workaround consisted in renaming all the files in my identity
folder with their equivalent in English and the new US version imported
all my mails and settings without a glitch. I wasn't using Entourage
much in Office 2001 so I don;t know the exact names of the differnt
files in your identity folder but it shouldn't be too hard to figure
them out (or get the information from someone else in this group).
