Switching to and from a slide show

There's probably a blindingly simple solution to this,
but I can't find it.
I'm giving a presentation and showing a slide show. I
want to make some changes to one slide based on input
from the audience. How do I switch from the slide show
view to the normal editing view and back without having
to start the slide show over again from the beginning?

One little Alt+Tab should do the trick for you, Kevin. And to get back, you
can Alt+Tab back or click the Resume Slide Show button.

Thanks for your help on this Rick. I knew there must be a
simple answer, but i couldn't find it.
