sync contacts from tilt phone to outlook 2003

I recently had to install a new hard drive. Our contacts had been
synchronized to an AT&T Tilt phone and also a Blackjack. I synchronized the
Blackjack to the new hard drive first and lost all of my contacts on my
phone. Now I am hesitant to synchronize the Tilt. How can I be sure it will
take the contact info on the Tilt and update the Outlook contacts instead of
wiping it off the phone?

Back up the phone first. When you create the partnership, tell the sync
software that the phone is the master.
