Sync Outlook at work / at home?!

P

Patrick Cormier

Hello,

What is the easiest way to achieve synchronization between the following
two Outlook 2K environments:

(1) at work, Corporate Workgroup mode on Exchange server, O2K on Win 2000;

(2) at home, Internet Only mode on Win XP Pro.

So far I have been content with a .pst file on a USB token device that
contains my contacts (1100+) and personal calendar. It is not very
convenient because at work I have to always check two calendars (one on the
Exchange server and the other one). Also, the calendar and tasks folders in
the pst file on the USB device are not scanned for reminders.

Bottom line - how can I use only one calendar, one tasks folder; and
offline sync them? (other than with a USB PDA)

Thanks...

patrick

What you want is simply not possible, because you do not have the same environment at home and at work. If you did have the same setup, you could synchronize your Exchange mailbox with offline folders and have the same data in both places.
