Sync with Hotmail server Messed :(

Hello all !!
My problem

I synced my hotmail account with Outlook2003.
Then I moved all the mails from Hotmail Inbox to Outlook Local Inbox ie
PERSONAL FOLDERS.
After this when i logged into hotmail account (via web page @ work place)I
noticed all my emails have me completely removed. The hotmail Inbox now reads
0 mails & 0 unread.

After realising the mistake, I again moved all the mails from Outlook LOCAL
Inbox to Hotmail Inbox. and found all my emails back into my Hotmail mail
account, but with two problems.

1. All the emails are now showing the RECEIVED DATE as today.
2. Most of the emails are now having WINMAIL.DAT as attachments & some
attachments are corrupted.

Is there any solution to restore the above problems ?

for 1 - no.
for 2: Can you still read the messages without needing to access the
attachment? YOU might be able to just strip the attachments.
