Synchronize Outlook data on all computers on home network

Shawn

I just recently installed a home network (2 computers).
I have Outlook xp on both computers and the OS is Windows
XP. How can I have the calendars, contacts, and e-mail
synchronized at both computers. Meaning, I update a
contact on the downstairs computer and I go to the
upstairs computer and I can see the recent update to that
contact. It would be the same process for appointments
and e-mails. Thanks for your ideas

What you can do:

- Create a share folder on machine A

- Set up your Outlook profile so the Personal File Folder is located
inside the share folder

- Mount the share folder as a local drive on machine B

- Set up your Outlook profile on machine B so it's reading the Personal
File Folder from the network mounted drive as default

Hope that helps.

Forgot to mention that if you are running Windows XP, you can just
enable Remote Desktop feature. Remote Desktop will allow you to control
a machine remotely.
