Synchronizing Personal Folders and Random Crashes

Hey all,

I really have two problems here.

1). I have two computers and I work at home (i.e., I can't afford
Exchange Server). I run Windows XP on both my desktop and laptop computers
and they both use Outlook 2002. While I'm out of town, sometimes my
daughter checks my email for me since my laptop's dialup is less than stable
and I get a lot of large (50MB+) attachments. When I get home, I want to
make the inboxes and personal folders identical. I can't just copy the pst
files because there are emails on my laptop that don't exist on my desktop
and vice verce. I have tried QSynchronization, but was too expensive and
sometimes caused Outlook to crash. I have tried OutlookSynch but it won't
open on my desktop. I can't run Exchange Server on XP Pro.

2). The second problem has to do with some semi-random crashes. Outlook
just says that it has performed an illegal operation and has to quit. This
is really no more than very annoying, but I don't really know where to
start troubleshooting. Here's another thing. The problem only occurs in
one of four XP profiles. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yours,
Jason
