Syncronizing video and PPT

I videotaped someone giving a powerpoint presentation,
created a wmv file at 240 x 160 and inserted that back
into his ppt. This gives a running video of the presenter
in a small window against a full size background of his
powerpoint presentation. I used the rehearse timings
feature to change the slides at the appropriate times, but
I'm finding they don't stay syncronized. Any ideas?

Tis the nature of PowerPoint and timing. Try running through the
presentation a couple of times. This *usually* helps to smooth out the
rough edges. But,,, you are never going to get it to be exact. Not much
you can do about it.
