Tab key behaviour

Strangely enough, when I press my tab key in Outlook, it
tabs over rather than go to the next field or button.
Anyone have any clue what causes this?

Does it go to a different open window? Then it is a stuck ALT-key perhaps?

It actually does not. It simply tabs over in the field.
If I am entering an e-mail address and I tab, it moves the
cursor over in the e-mail address field one tab space
rather than going to the CC field. Very odd.

Have you already tried rebooting your machine? (you probably have but just
to make sure)

Are you sure that your keyboard has the right layout and language selected?
Check Regional Settings in Control Panel to make sure (and remove the ones
you don't use). Also, does this keyboard behaviour happen in other programs
as well?
