table - cell and row spacing

I see in many web pages that the header and left side are flushed and run
seemly into each other with a background color. I have created a table and
always get spaces between the cells even if I select 0 for the spacing and
padding. Is there any way I can force the cells to not create spaces in the
browsers. When I edit the table, everything looks ok.

If you make your cellspacing, cellpadding AND border attributes all have
zero values, you will not see gaps.

I had trouble with this too, just recently. I ended up, after pulling my
hair out, I ended up checking the formatting of both the table AND the cells
contained within the table. I essentially ended up "double formatting" to
eliminate my spaces betweenn cells. There should be an easier way, but I
didn't have time to find it.
I used FP2000.
Hope this helps,
-Steve
