Hi Pam:
Go back and do it over, but this time paste cells rather
than the whole second table. Start by putting in a blank
row at the bottom of the "other document" table. Then
select all the cells you want to move, but not the last
row. And also don't select the "end of row" markers just
to the right of the table.
Then, in the destination table, either create enough blank
rows to fit the new text -- or, you can apparently have
just one blank row at the bottom of the table. Then put
the cursor in the upper-left new cell, and paste. Instead
of a shortcut paste, go through the menu: Edit /
Paste ... -- it should tell you what it thinks you're
pasting. When you see it is pasting cells, you're on the
right track.
