How do I add a second set of page numbers? I want to have a seperate set of
page numbers for the TOC and the body text. I have tried numerous times
without success.

If you mean you want the pages of the TOC itself to be separately numbered,
see http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/NumberingFrontMatter.htm.

If you mean you want each TOC entry to show something other than (or as well
as) the page number on the bottom of the corresponding page, please post
again to explain exactly what you are aiming at.
