Tables and form fields

I created document with 147 form fields set at max 32
characters. It works great. However when enduser hits
enter, even when form is locked, the form moves down a
line and reformats document (page 1 moves to the top of
page two, etc.) How can I stop this. One solution make
enter button act like tab button. Two I tried to use
tables unsecessfully, as I have 147 fields.

What is the best solution?
Thanks

James,

The "Enter works like Tab" idea sounds great. I'm going
to look at that, too.

I build a lot of forms and usually build them in tables.
Whether you implement the Enter/Tab thing or not, if you
decide you do want to use tables, you can set your table
row heights to Exactly ## points/inch on the Table, Table
Properties, Row tab. That prevents the rows
from "growing" even if the user does press Enter or in
some other way create a second line of text. The down
side is that the additional line(s) of text get hidden
from view because they extend beyond the allowed row
height.

I may use both techniques together in the future.
