Tables from Excel lose color when copied into Powerpoint, why?

[Color Lost When Copying into Powerpoint]

I have tables in Excel where I have used symbols which are in color (check
marks, etc). When I copy and paste special (as Microsoft Excel object) into
my Powerpoint document, the colors are lost (the symbols remain as black &
white).

I believe the fix for this is to set a color printer driver as your default
printer driver.

you could also try "paste special" - picture (enhanced metafile)
