Tier 3 Questions

I have read of such an "Advanced" tab or button on the Tablet PC Input Panel
Options screen. I don't have one. Was this in an earlier version of the
Tablet OS?

Which Tablet PC do you have, and which version of Windows XP and the Tablet
PC Edition are you running. If you have Tablet issue, it would be best to
post to the microsoft.public.windows.tabletpc newsgroup instead of in the
newsgroup where OneNote is supported only. Please limit your posts to one
per subject, and give those of us who volunteer in the newsgroups a chance
to respond.

Tier 3 Questions

Chris, just discoverd the Tablet PC discussion group and copied the relavent
ones over to there.

I've read many of the posts and it seems you are they authority on most of
this stuff. I've had a couple of my posts answered by you already (e.g.
seems Write Anywhere is gone with SP2). I'm guessing the same may be true of
the Advanced option in TIP Options.

I am on a Toshiba Portege M200, running XP Pro SP2.

I welcome your generous feedback.

Excellent machine! We have twins. Yes, Write Anywhere is replaced by
the "floating" Tablet Access icon, whenever you have the Tablet Input Panel
in the Undock mode AND the cursor is within an input area while you're using
the pen. The pen must be within 1/3 or 3/4 of an inch of the screen (picked
up by the digitizer) for it to be active.

Yup, found your posts. Continue over there. All questions welcomed, and
hopefully successfully answered. You ask, and we all learn.
