Hi all,
I have a strange problem I need to solve. In project 2002 Enterprise
environment I create a project and specify the tasks and their duration.
Example:
Programming XYZ component 4hrs
I assign some resource to the task. When the resource connects to PWA and
goes to Tasks and reports hours that it spent on the task (for example
programmer insterts 4hrs in the task list to specified task), the task is
now 100pct complete. After saving, all goes to project manager to confirm
the progress... I accept the change in PWA (as manager of the project) and
after updating the task, Project Pro is open, the project file from server
is updated with the task complete information...
BUT: the duration of the task changes to some strange value (56hrs) instead
of the 4hrs that has been inserted and approved by the resource and
manager... In project costs Project server counts with the 4hrs, but
displays 56hrs or something like that... it very confusing... Any idea where
the the problem may be?
