In Project 2003 I want to add an excel file or word document to a task.
I open the task information dialogue box and go to the notes tab.
I click on the insert object button and select create from file
Navigating to the file, I select and specify Link and Display as Icon.
Click on OK to return to task notes
However, although the notes section shows the word Document or Worksheet,
the icon itself is not displayed. I have seen this work OK on other machines.
Please can anyone suggest a reason for this and a possible fix?
