Task Pad: Getting error when trying to modify existing tasks

I get following error message when I am trying to modify existing tasks in
Taskpad (as it appers in Calendar):

"You must specify a valid date. Check the entries in this dialog box to make
sure they represent a valid date."

Existing task do not have a due date. When viewed using Tasks folder the due
date column is blank for these tasks...
