TASK_FINISH_VAR field

Hi there.
I generate a report within MS Access that reaches out to MS Project mpd
tables. When I calculate the Finish variance in Access (by subtracting
TASK_FINISH_DATE and TASK_BASE_FINISH) it produces the number of days
difference, but also includes weekend days.

I noticed the the Finish Var field when displayed in Project's Baseline
View, shows the varinance in days excluding the weekends and holidays.

Is there a way to format the TASK_FINISH_VAR field in my Access report the
same way, or am I going to have to write code in Access to calculate the days
and exclude the weekend days?

Thanks in advance!
Marty

Use the _VAR field. it should show number of minutes variance in working
minutes (no weekends). divide by 60 and hours per day to get days variance.

That's exactly what I needed to know... couldn't figure out what the value in
that field represented.

Thanks!!
