Hi All
I'm using MS Project 2003, standalone.
I changed the standard calendar for resources (in the resource sheet
information) . I select "non default working times" on Saturday/Sunday in the
calendar for the resources.
The result is that my resource can now be assigned to Saturday/Sunday in the
schedule when selecting the duration which is great.
However, when I'm doing this I've noticed the hammock/summary task don't
calculate weekend working in the duration field. E.g. I use today's date as
the starting date and have 4 tasks taking a day each which takes me up to
Friday 17/07/09 - I get a hammock duration of 4 days. When I add 2 more
tasks over Saturday and Sunday the resources/days are assigned over the
weekend but the hammock duration remains at 4 days and doesn't update to 6
days.
Can you please guide me on what I am doing incorrectly. I'm assuming I've
done something incorrectly in the resource calendar that is not recognised or
associated to weekend work across the hammock when weekends are including.
Thanks in advance to all who take time out to respond.
Cheers, H
