Where can I place my custom template folders to make them available within
Office XP (2002)? All Help files refer to the Office toolbar, which does not
exist! Thanks!

Thanks for your help, Bob.

Somewhere in all the articles it finally dawned on me that ever one referred
to Word and not Excel (I use Excel 50 times more than any other Office
product). Anyway, Excel doesn't have a tab for File Locations under
Tools/Options, but in Word, there it was, big as life. The locations now
carry over to all other Office programs as well. Wish I could remember that
the next time I need to know (ie, reinstallation, etc.)

Thanks!

Hi Raptor,

Yes, that's true. Using Word is one way to set a location
for templates for Office XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290232&FR=1#4
That article has a couple of others as well.

For Excel this information may also be helpful.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;291218&FR=1
being aware of this change in behavior with Excel 2002
