I need a 10 collum x 14 row template. This is for my bread order, I tried and
the lines won't print. I would like it to run sideways. Please help me.

Did you try using a table? Here's some step-by-step (but you gotta send me
some bread).

1. New document.
2. File-->Page setup, choose Landscape with .75" margins all the way around.
3. Table-->Insert-->Table, and put in 10 columns by 14 rows.

Now, the rows probably aren't tall enough for you to write in.

1. Click inside the table.
2. Hit Table-->Select-->Table.
3. Hit Table-->Properties, go to the Row tab and make the row exactly .45"
high (assuming letter size paper).

Table gridlines are for screen display only, to help you in constructing the
table. If you want lines that print, you need to apply borders. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/Borders.htm

If by "run sideways" you mean that you want the width to be greater than the
height, then set the page orientation to Landscape (in File | Page Setup).
