Template that makes a shape appear on each page of a multipage dra

I created a template that includes guide lines and some text. I want these
items to appear in each page of a multi-page drawing created with this
template. In other words, if I "Insert Page" to add a page to the drawing, I
want all the shapes on the template to appear in the added page. However,
when I insert a page, it is blank, i.e. it does not include the shapes on the
template.

This can be done using a background page. Add the common information to the
background page and attach it to a foreground page (look in Page Setup or
when you Insert page)

When you insert a new page, it will take the properties of the existing page
and will use the same background page.
