How do I restore the ID column after it was hidden from view and the data
that was associated with the column. I am using Mircosoft Project 2003
Standard.

Hi,

Love to play golf too, so I'll help you before iit gets too dark to go to
tee 1 :))
Select the first column, Insert Menu, Column, select ID.
If it isn't grey (like it is "normally") View Menu, table, More Tables,
Edit, check on "Lock First Column"

No more handicap!

Hi lovetoplay_golf,

Try View > Tables > More Tables then click the Edit button to show the
Table Definition dialog box. The ID column may have been removed from
the table or the width set to zero.

If the width in the Table Definition dialog box has been set to zero,
but the column is still listed increase the width (I believe it is
usually set to 6).

If the ID column has been removed, select the first row and click the
Insert Row button. Select the ID field from the Field Name drop-down.
Set the Width to 6, click the Lock first column check box and click OK
to exit the Table Definition dialog box and return to the More Tables
dialog box. Click Apply.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie
