Templates on computer

Hi I have word 2002 and when I choose file - new it shows a list of
general templates, templates on the web and templates on microsoft.com
but it doesn't show templates on my computer - which it used to do.

I have tried copying and pasting them into general templates but it
won't let me paste them.

Please can anyone tell me how I can get it to display my own
templates.

They go in your user templates folder, not the same folder as the ones
installed by Word. For more on the different kinds of templates, tabs on the
file new dialog, and locations of templates folders see
