i just downloaded a template from the microsoft office website, but it will
not load onto my powerpoint because it says it may not be a powerpoint
presentation. is there anything i can do to fix this?

What is the file extension? Depending on where you downloaded them from you
may need to unzip them. Can you tell us the web address of the page you
downloaded from?
