Text box background changes colors when I edit it

When editing text the box background changes colors. How do I choose color
so I still see the text?

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the reply. That works for text that is highlighted. When the
text is not highlighted I haven't been able to adjust the background contrast
compared to the text. I tried adjusting few of the different scheme colors
with no luck.

Any other ideas?

The back ground is grey/white gradient and the text is black. When I edit a
text field and there is no text highlighted the background turns a dark blue
and the text stays black.

Ahhh when I set it to automatic it fixes the background. Thanks, that got me
in the right direction.
