Text box on every page

I need to create a text box at the bottom of every page
that will insert the File name only in Times New Roman
font 8pt. This will be activated by a Form that is built
already

I'm not too great at this, but what we do is to insert the
FileName (& path, but you don't have to) into the footer,
and then change the font. While we do this with each
document we want to do, you can probably put in a program
that, when you open that specific document, will insert
this information for you.

If it's to be on every page, I'm not clear why it can't be in the footer--or
at least in a text box anchored to the footer.

OK, I'm going to put on my mind-reading cap (and possibly stick my foot in
my mouth)...

I'm guessing that your unexplained insistence that "it cannot be in the
footer" really means "it cannot appear in the footer area" (although that's
where "the bottom of the page" is...). Perhaps you didn't understand
Suzanne's comment that it could be "in a text box anchored to the footer" --
the text box itself does not have to appear in the footer area but can float
anywhere on the page that you want it. The key bit is that the cursor must
be in the footer when you create the text box; that's where the text box's
anchor goes, and that's what causes it to repeat on each page. Then you can
drag the text box to any position on the page.

If that isn't the issue, then you will have to explain *why* the file name
can't be in the footer, else you're not likely to get any help.
