text boxes

hi,

i have a template with text boxes from the control tool box. the template
creates a new doc. from it. but, i want to get rid of the text boxes on the
new doc, and replace them with regular text. does anyone has any experience
on vba for office xp?

You can retrieve the contents of your textboxes with code like this --

Dim pRange As Word.Range

Set pRange = ActiveDocument.StoryRanges(wdTextFrameStory)
Do Until pRange Is Nothing
Debug.Print pRange.Text
Set pRange = pRange.NextStoryRange
Loop


What you actually do with the textbox contents is a separate issue. But why
not just fix the template?
