text color changes when previewing in browser

I am working on a site that involves putting text boxes on top of existing
..gif files. Easy enough--I've done this on dozens of files with no problem.
Now all of a sudden, when I add text it still looks fine in preview mode.
But when I save and preview in either IE or Mozilla all the text changes from
black to green. I tried reinstalling FrontPage but no change. Any ideas?

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download a copy of
FP Cleaner.

Run the functions that clear the FrontPage Temporary files and the
Cache(*.web) files.

Thanks for your response. There were no temporary files. There were 2 cache
files that were sent to the Recycle Bin. Problem persists. --Chad
