Sometimes, when I receive an email in html format and choose Reply in
Outlook, about half of the text disappears. I.e., the text that was
displayed when viewing the email (presumably by an Outlook viewer)
disappears when I choose Reply (and see the email in Word). This used
to happen when I receive mail from a friend with a yahoo.com account
(with all of his emails). It is now happening with email from a
business associate (who uses a web interface).
This only happens if I am using Word as my mail editor. When I get an
email that has this "problem," it'll happen every time I try replying
to it. Sometimes when I reply to an email and I am not aware of a
problem, if I then look at the email in my Sent folder, it will have
my reply in the wrong location in the email. My friend with a yahoo
account use to mention this ("your reply is always in some random
location").
This has been going on for years.
Using Outlook 2000 SP-3 (9.0.0.6627) and Word 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3).
