Text Fields

I've created a text field on the task list, which I wish to show on the
resource report against the task.

The help suggests that task text fields and resource text fileds are
mutually exclusive. Is this true?

These fields are not the same object indeed

Tried the FAQ 37 solution but didn't get what I hoped for.

The problem is that I'm using a master resource project with multiple
projects inserted, So I'm looking to tag each task in the resource sheet with
the contract No that it applies to

The FAQ 37 solution only apears to work in the unique project and I was
hoping to avoid having to do all of them.

Any other thoughts though would be appreciated.

Hi,

Could you be a bit moe specific, in fact try to use Project's vocabulary?
There are no tasks in the Resource Sheet view.
Do you mean resource usage?
Are the projects in your master linked to a resource pool?

Tasks and resources are the two different sides of the coin!

Microsoft "allow" you to add/show a limited amount of fields from one
side to the other but after that - tough???

..... only that each coin may have multiple other sides and then which fields
have to be transferred???
