hello sir,
i am student who is doing my project using access2000
my problem is as follows
i have a text file which is quite big, it has about 500
different feilds like
horizontal distance = 720
vertical distance = 840i
etc
i have single form which has feilds from 4 differnt feilds
and takes record details from these 4 tables and displays
it.
i want to read the text file and input the values say 720
and 840i as 720x840i into a particular feild of a form
which corresponds to a feild in one of the 4 tables
like that i would have to read from the text file and put
differnt kind of text values in the required feilds of the
form.
all this has to be automatically once i get the text file.
the text file is actually got by running a software
program/tool i.e when u run the tool/program we get the
text file with the result of the program, and i have to
read it and put into a form and it as a new record, the
form as i said has feilds from4 tables
also there are 3 such different tolls/programs that i have
to run to get 3 text file. the contents of the 3 text
files make up the contents of my form i.e one text1 file
corresponds to some feilds in the form and another text2
file corresponds to some other feilds in the formand text3
file corresponds to some other feilds in the form.
please guide me as to how i go about this,and also with
some technical details.
