Is there a way to have text flow around the outline of a
graphic so the text takes the form of the image?

Use the "Tight" wrapping option?

I'm not really looking to wrap the text to the object, I
want to have one line of text take the actual shape of
the outer edge of the graphic (dog) so it looks like the
object. Sorry if I didn't explain myself that well before.

Sarah,
will need
Photoshop or, ideally, Illustrator to accomplish what you want.

Though Davey will probably tell you that PagePlus can do it, though I doubt
that very much.

Actually, it does do it. From the help file:

To fit existing text to an existing line or shape:

1 Create an artistic text object.

2 Create a freehand, straight, or curved line (see Drawing and editing
lines) or a shape (see Drawing and editing shapes).

3 Select both objects and choose Fit Text to Curve from the Tools menu.
The text now flows along the specified path.

It actually is a decent and pretty powerful program for its cost.

Thanks for responding.
I do have PagePlus 9 and was able to do what I wanted.

I missed something in the thread. You are reading a PP help, no wonder I couldn't
find it in Pub. Fitting text to a path can be done in Corel if anyone cares.
