Text in calendar

I'm trying to create a calendar in Publisher for a nursing home that will
include 4-6 events/activities on most days. However, the text is so small
it's hard to read when it's printed. If the font is increased, some of the
activities don't show because they are larger than the text box (which has to
be sized to fit the box for that day) When the same thing is created in
PrintShop, it comes out looking perfectly. Unfortunately, using PrintShop is
not an option (company policy). I just don't understand why PrintShop would
produce a far superior end-product.

If you are using a calendar wizard the cells in the calendar can be modified,
right-click, format table, cell properties tab, set the margins to zero. Or you can
create a text box over the cell, the margins in the text box can be set to zero. Give
the text box a white fill. You also can make the calendar larger, just grab a handle
and stretch. Use a sans serif font. Arial Narrow is very readable, takes up less
space.
