Text not fitting in a cell

Can anyone explain why the text i am typing in the cell
shows all in the formula box, but when I move to another
cell, no all the text is visible? It chops off the ast
couple of sentences. I have tried all the standard
actions,like formatting the the cell, text wrap, enlarge
the cell both thru coumn width and row ht, but nothing
seems to work. It is like their is a setting that only
allows so many words in a cell.
Any guidance here?

MS Help: Worksheet and workbook specificatiions
Length of cell contents (text) - 32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display
in a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar.

in addition to Arvi's answer: You can extend the displayed amount of
text if you add manual linebreaks with ALT+ENTER
