Text wrapped around a circle

Novice here- please bear with me.
I would like to draw a circle (figured out that with oval
tool) and put text inside that wraps around the inside of
the circle. Any help?

Can't be done in Word. You can get a sort of circlish thing using WordArt,
but to create true text-on-a-curve you'll need an illustration program such
as Illustrator or CorelDraw.

The font size setting in WordArt is deceptive. The size of the text depends
on the size of the object and the amount of text.

I'd use the WordArt feature. On that toolbar there is WordArt shape,

which allows you to have text in a circle. You'll have to play around with
it to get it the way you need it. Don't forget to change the font size in
WordArt to something smaller as that might fit your need better.
